Above is estimated times for kindergarteners. They are on the computer ~1.5 hours a day and then require adult help for the rest of the 3-4 hours.
Homeschool in SC
SC Homeschool Laws state that there are 3 different associations you must choose from in order to homeschool:
Option 1
- Requires 4.5 hours a day for 180 days
- Has standardized tests
- Has lots of options and one example is Vine & Branches
- Option 3 associations must have at least 50 members
- They do not award diplomas
- Parents are responsible for transcripts
Homeschool Co-ops and Hybrid Schools
- Drop your kid off (or stay and participate) 2 or 3 days a week for education on 1 or many subjects.
- Tuition based
- Ask your association for options that they are aware of.

Microschools
- Inspired by one-room-schoolhouses
- Drop your kid off 2-5 days a week
